Load Balancing

I've been looking at ideas for various load balancing options for Bungeecord proxies. I've looked at using Round Robin DNS but I don't really like that as it is possible to get a proxy that is down. I've also looked at HAProxy, but no matter how hard I try (I've put like an hour and a half into it), I can't get the original client's IP to be passed to Bungeecord.

Is there any way to get HAProxy to pass source IPs to my Bungeecord proxies or is there another transparent load balancing...
