Hard linking server files

So let's say I have a chat filter on each Spigot server under the Bungee that I'm adjusting like every couple days or so. Are there any problems that could be caused by hard-linking all the different instances of the config file together? (In this case, the plugin never writes to the config file and the Spigot servers will always match versions of this plugin.)

Or, to go even further, could I hard-link a plugin or even the spigot.jar file to each server? For example, FAWE frequently...
